Bio

As a composer and sound designer with a variety of experience in both video games and independent film, Mike is an accomplished artist with credits on 2 nationally published video games, an internationally-distributed independent film, and recent audio design work for a PC video game project that is based on a Nickelodeon children's television series.

After earning his B.A. in Music Business from Anderson University in Anderson, Indiana, Mike became Pro Tools Certified as an audio specialist through Omega Studios in Rockville, Maryland. As the founder of Endemic Audio Productions, he worked as a composer and sound designer for nationally published video game titles Robot Arena 2: Design and Destroy and Construction Destruction. He also took on the role of foley artist and sound designer for two independent films, the most recent being Fake ID which was produced by Umbaugh Filmworks of Indianapolis, Indiana and internationally distributed by Dave Herzen Entertainment of Los Angeles.

Most recently, Mike finished audio design and preproduction work on a PC video game based on a Nickelodeon children's television series. For this game project, he developed the audio pipeline, wrote the audio sections of the Game Design and Technical Design documents, and recruited key members of the development team. On the technical side, Mike is an expert user of the following applications: Digital Performer, MachFive, Pro Tools, and Creative Labs’ ISACT audio engine.
