Bio

I am a 62 year old composer and piano teacher. My wife and I own Harmonies Music, Inc., a small school with 12 educators on staff. I also teach at Woodward Academy in College Park, Ga. I started composing at age 14. My training in composition was with Brent Pierce at Fullerton College in Fullerton, California. I also played Hammond B3, trumpet and french horn professionally with Chain Reaction, a six piece funk/lounge band from 1973 to 1978.

Music Description

I compose in several distinct styles including Symphrock, Symphjazz, Pansymph, and Symphfolk.. I taught myself how to read and play both volumes of Bach's Well Tempered Clavichord when I first began. It was his music that caused my first epiphany at 14. I also taught myself how to play french horn and went on to land principle horn with All State 3 years in a row, principle horn with the 3rd Army Band and principle horn with every college I attended.
