I've had great experiences with Antares Auto-tune. They continually come out with good updates.

I haven't tried Melodyne but I enjoy working with Autotune. Autotune can also be used surgically to alter certain parts.

I'm running Pro Tools 7.3 for Mac and trying to decide between Autotune and Melodyne for tuning my vocals.

I spoke to Ryan Leal at Atlanta Pro Audio for his advice. He said:

"With Auto tune can just put it on the track and will tune it for you, but with Melodyne you have to scan audio into the plug-in where you can be more surgical and tune onlythe sections you need fixed. It really depends on what you need.

....also the new version of Melodyne lets you tune notes within a chord (i.e. turn a strummed acoustic guitar chord from a G major to G minor chord)."

    That's just nuts....

    Opinions?
